The course consists of flying lessons with qualified instructors, and a minimum of 60 hours of ground school where the following subjects are covered:

  • Fire, First Aid and Safety Equipment
  • Human Performance and Limitations
  • Air Navigation

Included in the ground school is the official BMAA microlight syllabus, Microlight Pilot's Handbook by Brian Cosgrove, and Air Law by Geoff Weighell.

  Restricted License
  A minimum of 15 hours flight training of which 7 must be done solo.
  If you already own a microlight and want to use it for your flight training, no problem - course fees are much less. Ask for more details.
